Junior Financial Manager
Company Overview:
Vuka Timbers are a key player in the South African as well as African treated pole markets. We have 3 treatments plants in Mpumalanga, KZN and the Eastern Cape and manufacture both CCA and Creosote pressure treated poles for use in telecommunications, Electrification and Agricultural markets
Who will the candidate be reporting to?:
- Reporting to Financial Manager and from time to time to CFO
Job summary:
- Management of stock systems and controls, reconciliations on accounts, assets and assistance with 3rd party audits
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensuring effective management of stock and stock systems over all the sites
- Reconciliations on debtors and creditors
- Cashbook
- Fixed asset registers and insurance
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Accounting or related qualification (completed or working to completion)
- Completed articles or proven record of financial experience
- High proficiency level in MS Office suite especially in Excel
- Fluent conversant in English and Afrikaans
- Attention to details
- Working knowledge of Sage evolution or Sage pastel would be advantageous
Salary and Benefits:
- Salary is negotiable according to experience and will be market related.
