Saw Doctor
Normandien Farms (PTY) Ltd requires the services of an experienced and well-motivated, Saw Doctor to be based in Empuluzi.
Duties will include:
- Supply high quality refurbished and sharpened saws and blades.
- Ensure Sawshop machines are correctly set up and maintained to ensure accuracy.
- Ensure that tooth profiles and geometry and cutting angles on blades and cutters are regularly checked and inspected.
- Inspect and advise on machine set up and maintenance of all machines using blades and cutters.
- Maintain and repair the sawblades used in the Sawmill.
- Sharpening of all blades and cutters in the Sawmill.
- Stock and Management Control of the Sawshop.
- Manage Sawshop crew.
- Manage availability of spare blades, cutters and Sawshop consumables.
Requirements:
- Matric/grade 12.
- 3 – 5 years’ experience in a similar position.
- Good Knowledge and Understanding of the Health and Safety Act.
- Good people Managements skills.
- Good problem-solving skills.
