1. Primary purpose of current/most recent position:
I’m currently working as an Assistant Farm Manager. My duties are managing the farm, planting sugarcane and green manure crops, farm planning, weed control, pests and diseases control, nematodes control, supervision of employees, health and safety, administration, fertiliser application, record keeping.

I have bundles of enthusiasm and a real ambition to progress. I am ever so keen to get on and build a career in agriculture, and I think that you would find it difficult to find someone who has my energy and willingness to work hard. All of the jobs I’ve held so far have required me to work often long hours and within the team and it’s something that I very much enjoy. So I think that I am a very strong candidate.

8. Achievements: 
Reducing weeds, increasing the sugarcane tons produced per hectare and improving employees working by giving them a clear vision of what has to be achieved. I have reduced cost by using correct equipment and Calibrating equipment so that we don’t over or under apply chemicals and Fertiliser and using fewer employees to do lot of work.

I love agriculture, team work, challenge, self development, recognition and making a difference

I want to work for a large employer that is truly international in scope. Getting a good training programme is obviously very important. And I want the opportunity further down the line perhaps three or five years in the future to be able to hold senior position.
